Whenever it's possible, it would be great if the [M] could be shown after the symbol in the Chart Headers also. I don't use a title bar on any of my charts, and can't see the [M] unless I add the title bar.

If I could have my way, I think the best idea would be to show the SC feed connection status in the connection status area.
Example: DF:771 S:3 [M]

Go to Global Settings >>Customize Chart Header. Add the Symbol-Period-Chart Number field.

Since the data feed is specific to individual symbols, it cannot be shown with the overall data feed status.

One more question. On my ES daily chart only, there is a [C] after the [M]. What does the [C] signify?

In response to post 3 we would never do this because it technically is not accurate and is misleading. As we said, the use of the alternate data feed, is specific to individual symbols.
