Stop Limits not triggering

I have been trying to use Stop Limit orders for the last few weeks, but am having to give up because sometimes they trigger correctly, placing the limit order when the stop price is touched, but sometimes they don't trigger at all.

For example, price is currently at 57.50. I want to place a buy limit order at 57.59 when price touches 57.60. I have set the Limit Offset to -1 (see attached settings screenshot), and I place the Buy Stop Limit order at 57.60 (see stop limit screenshot). Sometimes this will work, but more often price can go through the stop price, for example to 57.65, and no limit order is placed at 57.59. This has resulted in me missing many trade entries.

The trade service I use is GAIN Capital.

Any help you can offer would be much appreciated.

You cannot use a negative offset for a Stop-Limit order. That is just not allowed. The exchange does not accept that. Not even sure why those orders are not even getting rejected immediately.
