LMAX Bracket Orders on Client Side

With LMAX, bracket orders use up margin equivalent to that for the open position. I had deactivated the options - General Trade Settings > Use Server Side OCO Orders and - General Trade Settings > Use Server Side Bracket Orders. I had intended that those bracket orders be managed solely in my Sierra Chart application, sending the necessary market or limit order once the take-profit or stop-loss price was hit. But I seemed to have misunderstood the meaning of these two checkbox options. Once the position is actually entered, these options become irrelevant because the now live bracket orders rest on the SC-LMAX server. My question: There is no way to keep a pending order in the application without sending it to the trading server in order that it does not use up margin, is there? |
