When I have my 5 Moving Averages all "stacked" I'd like to color the fill area between the MA lines. I know how to use the Study Subgraphs Reference to accomplish a fill, but I'm wondering if there is a way to only color the fill if my alert criteria are met (i.e. when 10 is above the 20 which is above the 50, etc.)

Yes, this can be done. The general idea is to use 2 Color Bar Based on Alert Condition studies that reference a Moving Average Subgraph each. You would put your criteria into the Alert formula for each of these Color Bar Based on Alert Condition. Then, you need to add a (or modify your existing) Study Subgraphs Reference to reference the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition studies. We have attached a Study Collection using 2 moving averages to help get you started. You will find the information on how to use the Study Collection here: Study Collections: Using a Study Collection Provided by Sierra Chart Support For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
