Why do you say this and how do you come to this conclusion? Here is the documentation for this functionality:

We have to ask questions and at this point it is really impossible for us to give an answer because we do not know the sequence of events and these are logged in the Trade >> Trade Service Log, for this functionality.

We also do not know what you have done with the settings and at what point in time and whether Sierra Chart was running at all times. Really we do not have an answer but we have verified this functionality does work correctly, just now. No problems at all. It works perfectly.

So to be completely clear, we are declining further answer for your question because it is not possible for us to answer this.

One thing we have done, which will help you is we have restored the capability to have Global Profit/Loss Management work with replaying charts. This will be out in a couple of days. This makes it easy for you to do testing and validate the functionality works properly.

Just make sure the replaying chart is using a different simulation Trade Account compared to any other chart.

I may be having an issue understanding how it works, but it does not appear to be working for me. I'm replaying charts and tweaking settings to see if I can get it right. Basically I want to trail by 1000. This is how I have it set:

Profit trigger value: 1000
Profit Value After Trigger TO Flatten Positions: 0

Trail Daily Net Profit: Enabled
After Trigger When Daily Net Profit Increases by: 1000
Increase Profit Value After Trigger to Flatten Positions By: 1000

It seems that Whenever I take a trade after the initial trigger, it is immediately flattened.

Global Profit/Loss Management: Introduction

The functionality which is documented on this page, is not recommended to be used. It was developed in response to user requests, but it cannot work reliably on the client side. This functionality is going to be moved to the Teton Order Routing Service and managed on the server side in a highly reliable environment.

Why are folks still using this feature when documentation says it is "not recommended" ? Anyways, just for your awareness

You need to pay attention to the information in the Status area of the Global Profit/Loss window. You can also view this information on the chart using the "Trading Profit Management Status" study.
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:
