How do I add a custom study onto a sub instance chart?

I want to add the delta momentum indicator on my sub instance but nothing comes up when I click on add custom study. I can see the delta momentum tool under user contributed studies when I use the original chart book that was first opened. Is there a way to use custom studies on sub instance workbooks? thanks

We do not know why the files are not there, they are automatically copied over the first time a new instance is created. The easy solution is simply to copy the files from the main Data file for Sierra Chart to the new instance Data file. The particular files are named UserContributedStudies.dll and UserContributedStudies_64.dll. For a standard installation of Sierra Chart you would find these in C:\SierraChart\Data and then would copy them to C:\SierraChart\SierraChartInstance_2\Data.
