Limiting trading by number of futures contracts

Hello, Is it possible in Sierra Charts to limit the number of contracts I can trade at any particular time? I am looking to limit myself in the number of contracts I can trade actively. Please advise. Thank you, Adam |

If you are looking to impose an "Aggregate Limit" on the total number of contracts allowed to be open at one time, this can be accomplished a few ways. -Go to: Global Settings > Symbol Settings and check the box that says, "Use Global Trade Position Limit" and input your desired number contracts. -Check to see if your clearing firm offers the ability to impose an "Aggregate Limit" on you from their side. I know RCG can do this. -Requesting your margin requirements be raised. For example: $8,000 per contract. |

From the documentation for this feature: This feature does not work properly when Sierra Chart Trade Simulation Mode is being used. It is only functional for non-simulated trading.

I am also assuming the feature that flat/lock account for the day based on daily loss limit will also work when I switch to live trading. Right?
