Hi, I have never did this through the DOM before, always manually. I am sure it is the SC material but I could not find it. What I want to set up the SC DOM is the following. I want to set this up so it automatic as possible, even though I am discretionary in my trading. I know my strengths and weaknesses. : The following numbers are for CL futures. My first entry, say 2 contracts, if/when it goes AGAINST me 30 cents, it will add my other 2 contracts, for my full boat of 4. At 75 cents full stop out on ALL contracts. When/if the position moves in my favor, at thirty cents, I take half of the position off and move to break even on the remaining half. At fifty cents in profit, the BE stops moves to a trailing stop, trailing the remainder by 20 cents. I have no targets, except the first one and let the market take out the rest. The only issue I haven't figured out yet is how to add a full boat if the position goes into profit right upon entry and does not give me my chance to add when it goes against me a bit. Perhaps on some type of pullback? But, then I have to manually change the stop loss amount, which I guess I have to do in either situation. Because if the initial stop is based on the initial entry, regardless if I add to my position in profit or add if it goes against me, I will have to change it manually, I think. Rarely am I exactly right on initial entry and need to give the entry a bit of "wiggle" room. |
