Attached orders when trading on the charts...

When trading on the charts, I would like to be able to bracket price on either side with a potential trade to the upside and a potential trade to the downside. The problem is that is that if I put the orders on either side of price where I want them, the attached orders become intertwined, and it is hard to see what belongs to which trade in case I need to make quick adjustments to the orders depending on price action. Is there a way to do this to make it less "congested"? For instance, would it be possible to provide an option to keep attached orders "invisible" until the parent order is filled. That would greatly decrease the confusion caused by two intertwined orders. In the example attached, you can see that the protective trailing stops for each order run into the other order, making it difficult to quickly see and adjust the position of the parent order, if necessary.

Thanks for your consideration!

We will see about adding an option to keep Attached Orders hidden if they are in a Pending Child state.

This is an older thread but I had a similar question and haven't seen any new information. Has anything been looked at in this regard? Would it be possible to alter the transparency and color of the child orders while they are not live? MultiCharts does this with child orders and it makes it much easier to see what is live and what is not.

Also, is there a way to add attached orders to an existing unfilled order? For example, I will often uncheck the Use Attached Orders box so that I can work a manual exit without having new child orders appear when I place the order on the DOM. Then I will forget to check the box and the next time I place an order I just have the base order with no attached orders. I would like to be able to add those on without losing my place in the queue by having to cancel and resubmit with the box checked. I know that I can add them after the order fills but I would like to do it sooner. My broker does not support server side OCO so its all managed locally in SC. I hope that makes sense.

Thanks!

Good day,
Is it possible to add independent coloring for child stop and child limit orders. Somthing like that:
Chart Trading Child Order Line Buy Limit
Chart Trading Child Order Line Sell Limit
Chart Trading Child Order Line Buy Stop
Chart Trading Child Order Line Sell Stop

to add independent coloring for child ... orders.

+1

пояснение: когда ордера находятся близко на чарте, то трудно отличать основные и зависимые, тк они все одним цветом на buy side или sell side

On the Trade Window there is a new command Menu/M >> Hide Pending Attached Orders.

We will see about the other suggestions given.
