I'm having difficulty stabilizing the time step size on one of my charts. the 5mt chart. It keeps jiterind from one time frame to another independently making my chart disappear at times and forcing me to to look for it by scrolling the time colum until I find it and then fine tune the time until I find it and get it right, and then as time passes it happens afain. Very annoying and distracting and time consuming. Same happens if i duplicate the chart. its happening on the 5mt time frame only. the same chart is running in the 1,and 15 time scales(with different studies) with no stability problems. any suggestions appreciated

thanks for the come back. I verified your suggestions and could not see any conflicts with my present chart settings. but here is a further behaviour I noticed which could further help in your evaluations:I noticed that this fill space of the chart depends on the horizontal scale compression setting. as I contract the hztl scale the fill space reduces.and vice versa. I had not set/touched the fill space ever which is not checked on the chart setting. However I cannot scroll the chart beyond this fill space which is about 3/4 of the hztl scale. therefore reducing the amount of the chart I could watch on the screen. If I scroll the chart beyond that fill space the chart disappears and the vertical scale jumps to minimum increment. I would need to contract the vertical scale then to bring the chart back into view.
Again in summary I had not messed withe the fill space to my knowledge. I do not seem to be able to control the fill space of the chart beyond what it sets it to be.i cannot scroll the chart to the end of the horizontal scale.
Hope this helps thanks

We have reread what you wrote. Uncheck Chart >> Lock Fill Space if it is checked/enabled. And then go to the end of the chart with Chart >> Go to End of Chart.

Now we could get that particular chart from you and have a look but follow the information in the prior post first, it has been updated. If there still is an issue follow the instructions here to attach that chart:

upgrading to 1518 seems to have somewhat alleviated the space fill issue and the Vertical ray issue as wellreported earlier. I'm watching the behavior now and will report later if the issue persists. Thanks for your assistance in the matter

The issue with vertical rays has been resolved in 1815. There are no changes related to the fill space.
