I am new to Sierra Charts custom study coding and would like to convert some of my custom studies from ThinkOrSwim to Sierra Charts. As a first attempt, I'd like to develop a study to plot semi-transparent support and resistance zones on a sierra chart. I assume this is easy and that this code probably already exists somewhere. Anyone know of any existing studies or code snippets that do this that I could copy and modify to get started? Also looking for any other advice on resources to come up to speed more quickly. Any ACSIL getting started tutorial videos anywhere? Are there any good code repositories to be aware of - either within Sierra Charts or elsewhere? I'm familiar with the main ACSIL documentation and found the .cpp files in the example study files which I can open and read, but I am not aware of any index for these files to help find what I'm looking for more quickly. Are there any Sierra Charts programming user groups or forums that I should be aware of? Obviously, I'm aware of this Programming Help forum. Are there any other sites/groups I should check out? Thanks in advance, Randy |
