Hi SC, I am running version 1809 32-bit. I have configured tool bar #1 so that the buttons are color coded. After installing the latest release my saved chartbooks don't maintain the button colors. If I open a new chartbook then the buttons are colored correctly though until I have it. First screenshot shows the problem in saved chartbook. Second screenshot shows how should work and how works when I open a new chartbook. Thanks, JS |

This was reported last week also. Hopefully the Engineering team is working on the fix. Control Bar Button Properties — Scott |

I tried to revert back to a previous install and something strange happened where I can no longer load Sierra Charts and now I have to reinstall Sierra Charts and spend the majority of my day rebuilding my charts from scratch...oh boy! This is frustrating!!

You should not have this kind of problem. Updating Sierra Chart and rolling back to a prior version is always very reliable. Sometimes but rarely there could be an issue involving a particular file due to back compatibility issues but nothing serious and nothing that cannot be easily recovered from. There are backups of your Chartbook's: Chartbooks (Workspaces): Accessing a Backup Chartbook File You definitively will not have to do any rebuilding. And we apologize for the delay with responding. Hi SC, Thanks for the reply. I got my rollback problem resolved now which was caused by a file being flagged and blocked by my anti-virus software. In regards to the Control Bar issues, I wanted to report another problem I noticed. I have two buttons to flip back and forth between different control bar configurations and they don't seem to work anymore. I know they used to work at some point and can only assume it is related to the same problem affecting the control button coloring. Perhaps not? Thanks, Jake |
