Dear Sierra Customer Service, I am new to this trading software and I am wondering how to deal with the GUI. Using the Graphics Settings: Fonts and Text Appearance I chose DOM Quantities/Sizes , changing the type of font and also the size. Then I pressed Apply and OK but nothing changed. A snapshot is attached. On a side note, also I don't understand how to increase the price column width; only quantity columns widths are easy to manipulate. Thank you. |

you either have to use local graphic settings for your chart (see screenshot attached) or you need to set the settings in Global Settings -> Graphic Settings - Global you can not change the price column width. |

Andreas, In "Global Settings -> Graphic Settings - Global" there is no checkbox. (see screenshot attached). Pressing the Reset to default button did not help. Thank you. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2018-09-11 17:57:14

If you do not see a change in the font size, then you need to change the font size through the Graphics Setting window specific to the chart/Trading DOM: Graphics Settings: Fonts and Text Appearance Chart >> Graphics Settings - Chart For changing the width of ChartDOM columns, refer to: Global Trade Settings Windows: Chart/Trade DOM Column Widths and Headers (Trade >> Customize Chart/Trade DOM Columns) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I don't see how the link: Volume By Price Study: Right Aligning Volume Profiles with Space on Right Side of Chart could help to manage the Font size in a Trading DOM. Those instructions do not deal with Trading DOM but only Charts. Neither I can't see any screenshot detailing what I need. All this seems confusing. |

We apologize. This is a terrible mistake. The wrong link was given. We have corrected that above. Here is the correct link: Graphics Settings: Fonts and Text Appearance You will need to control the font size through: Chart >> Graphics Settings - Chart >> Fonts Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Please note that I open this thread referring to Graphics Settings: Fonts and Text Appearance Please re-read the entire thread from post#1, including the screenshots. I have just set as per "Sample 1234.50". Nothing changed. All this is quite frustrating. This seems to be managed as a catch22. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2018-09-25 09:12:14

We also said: You will need to control the font size through:
Chart >> Graphics Settings - Chart >> Fonts And the documentation does explain this as well. That command is not on the Global Settings menu but on the Chart menu instead.
