Detaching windows

I just wanted to make sure I was not missing anything from what I read and before I mess something up. When detaching windows I can then move them to which ever monitor I desire and then when I close out Sierra and restart they will appear where they were closed? Second question is the main window can simultaneously contain (visually) more than one window and have detached windows as described above and work as desired. Thank you. |
