Issue with Gold intraday chart monthly bars

http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1533920562801.png This is CQG F.US.GCEZ18 Continuous Contract with 1 Month Bar setting. As you can see in the picture, it randomly prints a number of abnormal bars. I've tried re-downloading the data and different settings with no avail. can I fix this issue? |

FYI, now I see the same problem with bitfinex cryptocurrency symbols too. So it's not just with gold.

Looks like you are using Intraday chart data in that particular chart you posted an image of. You should use historical Daily chart data instead. To do this, go to that chart and select Chart >> Bar Period >> Monthly.

No, I'm using intraday charts because I use tick based indicators on them. I just stripped off the indicators before capturing the image. Intraday Daily and Weekly bars are working fine. Please take a look into the issue if you can. thanks. |
