It simply is a calculation order issue, and you can see that by the calculation order displayed in the Chart Studies window. The custom study was being calculated before the Color background Based on Alert Condition study. Just seeing if there is a solution to this. It appears that if (sc.IsFullRecalculation) return; prevents my SMS Alerts from launching. I inserted sc.CalculationPrecedence = VERY_LOW_PREC_LEVEL; into my SC Defaults but my SMS alerts still will not launch. If I do not use (sc.IsFullRecalculation) return; when I load my study the criteria to send SMS alerts is true and I receive a lot of SMS alerts.
