I get an occasional ding from Sierra Charts and have checked both the Message Log and Alert Manager without success. Is there a way to find the source of the sound?

If you do not see it listed in Window >>Alert Manager >> Alerts Log, then it is not from Sierra Chart. But it could be from another instance of Sierra Chart you have running.

Is there a way to identify which instance alerts are coming from, or for the alert manager to label the instance it's from at the top of it's window?

There is not a way to see which instance has the alert. You have to look through each of them and check the Alert Manager to see if it is coming from that particular instance.
