Dear Support, Would it be possible to add the option to Chart Settings to graphically display Rollover date automatically on Historical charts (anything Daily or above) like it is shown in the screenshot below? http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1528265585628.png This applies to futures and options only and the information (Futures Rollover Date - First Notice Date) for futures is already available for all instruments in the Global Settings - Symbol settings - Rollover section. Dear Support, Can you please let me know if this feature is doable? I have just found that a very similar option is already available: 'Chart -> Show Rollover Dates' but it works with continuous charts only, but not single expiration contracts (I always use single, non-continuous contracts). Thank you. |

Dear Support, I am following up on this old request/question. The rollover date display study shows the date as custom text on the chart. Would it be possible to add the option to display it as a vertical line on the Forward column of the chart, similar to when the Chart > Show Rollover Dates option is enabled on the chart displaying a Continuous Futures contract? Or is there a way to reference this data using the study subgraph reference study to display as a background/vertical line or to base calculations on? I have tried this but to no avail. Also, the option Chart > Show rollover date works only when the chart displays a continuous futures contract. Can you please enable this for charts showing a single (non-continuous) expiration month? Finally, when trying to use the Rollover Date Display study on futures options charts, nothing is displayed (see attached screenshot). When I check the symbol definition of the futures options, I see that they are not defined by default, but when I browse through the options symbols with the search function, the symbol selection list contains and correctly displays the expiration date of the options contracts. So the correct data seems to be already in your database (or coming from the data source). Can you please add the ability to display rollover/expiration dates for futures options as well?
