Is there a possibility in sierra chart to track narrow range bars in a normal candle stick price chart? for exmaple:
- inside bar
- nr 4 bar
- nr 7 bar

or in general to start counting when we have the actual bar narrower then the prior bar and then count up till again I have a larger range bar

Kind regards

Would be best that we create a study that determines this.

But we need more specific details as to how this is determined. An inside bar is understandable but not sure about narrow range 4 and 7.

I believe the user is talking about Toby Crabel's metrics in which case an nr4 bar has the narrowest range of the last four bars.
