Hi, I am attempting to run two instances of Sierra Chart on my VPS. 1. Rithmic (Futures) 2. IB (currencies and stocks). I am currently using the Rithmic instance as a DTC bridge. What are the ideal port numbers for the second IB SC instance running DTC Bridge? Also, how many instances of SC can I run under the same username? In this case, i would have 2 instances on the VPS and 2 instances on a laptop, locally. I might also want to run it on my home PC as well. Which would make 4-6 concurrent logins. Thank you, |

You can use whatever port numbers you want. There are really no ideal numbers. You can run as many instances of Sierra Chart you want under the same username on the same computer. It sounds like you will want to use three systems. So for the third system you need to enable that here: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ServicesActivation Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thank you, other than changing the Listening Port (11099) and Historical Data Port (11098). Should I also change the UDP Port (22903) and TLS Historical Data Port from 0? Ok, I see the option to purchase a 3rd system to use. Could I do two on the same SC username and a third system on a different SC username? |

Following up: Even trying different Listening and Historical Data port for my second IB SC instance. I get this: Rithmic Trading | Connecting to the server 208.78.38.30. If you have a second Sierra Chart account, then there is no reason to activate support for a third system.Post #4 indicates some connectivity issue between the client and the server.
