I recently upgraded SC and Interactive Brokers TWS software. I am presently using TWS Build: 940.4 and SC Ver: 1032. I use the SC trade DOM and it works properly for orders and attached brackets. When an order is filled the position and P&L on the DOM, as well as the trade window, display correctly for about 10 seconds and then position turns to flat and P&L naturally disappears. Position does show correctly on the Orders and Positions window and also on the TWS software. It would not be any hardship to downgrade the SC and/or TWS software version. Should that be a solution kindly advise version number(s)to use. The message log follows should it be of assistance. Thank you, Jeff Connecting to IB data and trade server: 127.0.0.1. This could be the result of a different Trade Account selected on the Trade Window for the Trade DOM or chart as compared to the account that actually contains the position. You can see all of the positions in Trade >> Trade Orders and Positions >> Positions. If you have the proper trade account selected as explained here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_TradeWindow.html#SelectingTradeAccount And still the position shows flat when there is a position, then use the Order Fill Calculated Position: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_TradeStatusWindows.html#OrderFillCalculatedPosition Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thank you but that is not the case, I viewed each account. The order was placed on the trade DOM and appeared in the TWS software in the expected account. Kindly let me know should you require additional information. In reviewing release notes, this precise problem has been reported previously (for those using Interactive Brokers TWS with SC)and supposedly had been fixed with the release of the SC version that I am using. That is not the case in my experience. To repeat, It would not be any hardship to downgrade the SC and/or TWS software version. Should that be a solution kindly advise version number(s)to use. , the version of TWS and SC that are known to work together properly would be appreciated if that is the only solution. The Trade DOM is my reason for using SC. Thank you for a prompt response. Jeff |

We see you are using a financial advisor account. This complicates things and is not related to a similar problem with nonfinancial advisor accounts. We do not have enough information from you to understand what is going on. We do not know what Trade Account you have selected and what account the positions are in. We do not know what position data TWS is sending and is listed in Trade >> Trade Orders and Positions >> Positions . We recommend using the Order Fill Calculated position as explained.
