Quick update version 1717 was the last version for REPLAY to work correctly. Cheers |

There is no problem with chart replay. And your statement of the problem is completely meaningless to us. At this point no further support is provided unless we get a clear description. And once again there are no problems with replay. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Okay, Not sure what is meaningless, just read the post again for clarity :-) Using Trade DOM and my existing charts version 1717 is the last version to display ladder/price etc correctly when in reply mode. After version 1717 Trade DOM no longer works correctly, market limit orders do not clear and the bid /offer "1" that are displayed (if you dont save market depth) are all over the place. If it did work correctly after version 1717 then I wouldnt be posting this would I? hoping this has this made it clearer for you. Cheers |

Hi Just updates to 1723 and still same problem with replay and tradeDOM. The screenshot demonstrates whats happening. The Bid / Offer "1"s at the top do not move and you can see the current simulated price at the bottom with the black box. Also in live market going to sim it does not clear the market depth when going into replay mode. http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1521887142301.png As of writing this version 1717 is last version to work correctly. It even uses the market depth data in the ladder if set to save. I hope this explains things better Cheers |

Dear Support, I am experiencing the same issues when replaying in v1722. I'm trying to do replay 100% similar to the way what I always used and worked perfectly. The issues are the following: Market Depth (bid/ask levels) is not shown at all Bid/Ask shows 1 and stays at the same place and does not follow the price as it moves up/down Please see two images for examples: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1521887324715.png http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1521888320721.png The first shows a freshly created chartbook with a single 1min chart and a DOM. The second clearly shows that although the Bid/Ask levels on the DOM are not shown, the Market Depth data used for the replay is correct/exists because the Market Depth Historical Graphs are shown correctly. Can you please advise? |

There were 3 market depth related issues that occurred during a chart replay due to the significant internal changes relating to market depth data. This is not itself a problem chart replay but instead related to market depth data during a replay. We are releasing 1725 now. The basic functioning of chart replay was always fine. We do need to work on a problem though where when pausing a replay and resuming, the market depth data is reset and it takes a moment to rebuild. Not sure why we did it that way, there was a reason but we still need to look into this. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. This is now all fully resolved in the latest revision of 1725: We do need to work on a problem though where when pausing a replay and resuming, the market depth data is reset and it takes a moment to rebuild. morning, having similar issue with '1' showing in DOM, even after using 1725 see attached also, is there a way an email can go out to customers, notifying them when updates are made? or, somehow have an auto update function? i tripped across this latest update when researching this recent DOM showing '1' issue which just started for me thanks mark |

morning, having similar issue with '1' showing in DOM, even after using 1725
see attached This is normal if there is not market depth data for the time period being replayed. It also works for me, after I enabled local storage of the data, thanks folks. Now, I wish to locate some historical data for /ES from Jan 1 2018 to now, from a SC subscriber, if possible, allowing me to backfill my directory of data. |

You need to use the Sierra Chart Historical Data Service for this data: Sierra Chart Historical Data Service The symbol is ESM18. Excellent, but.... My Data/Trade Service is CQG Fix Trading, along with your level #3 (free), and Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds is (was) enabled, and still I am served no historical DOM bid/ask historical data. Also, SC Data All Services (NOT ENABLED ON PACKAGE) All Data is telling me I cannot get the historical intraday data, as indicated in the support page. I presume I am confused. 1) I understood the DOM bid/ask intraday historical data was stored locally (client side) and was not available from Sierra Chart or CQG, thus my request to other SC users for old data files for /ES, is this true? 2) If #1 is true, then why recommend SC Data All Services? and why is SC Data All Services recommended if it is not available? Thanks |

1. Yes this is correct. 2. We did not know you wanted historical market depth data. We were not paying close enough attention that you are using a Sierra Chart account through a broker.
