Open your Chart Settings Dialog->Advanced Settings 2-> and enable Invert Prices. You can also do this with the study "1 Divided By Price". Chart Settings: Invert Prices (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol Settings menu) https://www.sierrachart.com//index.php?page=doc/StudiesReference.php&ID=77&Name=1_Divided_by_Price However keep in mind the price is not inverse, only visually. (Current EUR/USD is 1.23, it would be .812 if 1 Divided By Price was applied to the chart) If you'd like the price to be inverse (1.23 would be -1.23) then change the Real-Time Price Multiplier and the Historical Price Multiplier above the Invert Prices checkbox to -1. You may also need to set the Volume/Open Int. Multiplier to -1 as well. Chart Settings: Real-Time Price Multiplier (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol Settings menu) |

I just realized there is a study named "Multiply Bars By -1" that you can use instead of messing around with the chart settings. Then you could enable Display As Main Price Graph on the Study's Settings dialog if you wanted to. I'd try this first. https://www.sierrachart.com//index.php?page=doc/StudiesReference.php&ID=189&Name=Multiply_Bars_By_-1 Date Time Of Last Edit: 2018-03-22 20:23:58

Use the 1/Price study documented here: 1 Divided by Price Or you can use the Invert Prices setting: Chart Settings: Invert Prices (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol Settings menu) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. You would use the Study Subgraph Invert study.

thank you for your help. i tried the subgraph invert study and the y axis becomes a fraction instead of displaying the actual vix number. is there a way to keep the numeric value of the actual? appreciate it! |

Then that is not an inversion. What is it exactly that you want to do and we will let you know if there is a way to do it.

I just thought that the VX price on the y axis would just reverse order as well instead of it being a small decimal number. Is it possible to just reverse the VX price? Thank you! |

There is not a way to do exactly what you want. The only thing that comes close would be to multiply the chart by -1, which will give you prices going in the way you want, but they will be negative. Refer to the following to do this: Multiply Bars By -1 For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Actually, there is a chart setting on the Symbol settings page: "Real time price multiplier" and "historical price multiplier". Simply set both to "-1".
