I'm experimenting with AutoTrading in paper trading mode. Worked fine all day yesterday. Last night I tried it to let it run semi-unattended. IB crashed. That is their TWS platform completely exited/disappeared for unknown reasons. I discovered the crash hours later. There had been no trades executed as a result. Q1: Is there an audible alert provided, either by default or that I can turn on when IB crashes in the future please? Q2: SC documentation said SC can support server-side AutoTrading. Does that mean I can opt to send entire AutoTrading instructions to IB such that even if the IB platform on my PC crashes, their server retains and executes AutoTrading instructions? |

Maybe the Trader Workstation automatically logged off? 1. Yes. You need to use this alert setting: General Settings Window: Server Connection Lost Alert (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Alerts >> Other Alerts) 2. We do not know what you are referring to here. In any case something like this is not supported. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
