Hi looking for a reliable data feed for equities / ETF by reliable I refer data preciseness (including volume) can u pls indicate few names out of the supporting compatible feeds ? as I can see merely google finance supports equities but they are unfortunately are not known as a quality feed and it may cause us to fail on taking trading decisions. appreciate yr assistance on the above need tnx |

For end of day data what I do is programmatically download data from yahoo finance driven from an access database using VBA (you could do this with any language) write out the CSV file to my sc folder and then just open up these files from sierra charts. All data is free that way and you have access as to all of the instruments available on yahoo. :-) SC, would you have any problems with me selling this system from a commercial perspective? If so then I understand just thought it would ask first... |
