Hello, 1- can SC data feed be run from my two different computers at the same time or do I have to pay extra for the second computer data feed to run simultaneously ( it is my backup laptop) 2- I have 3 instances running on my first PC as performance is much much better this way, can I install SC On 2nd computer or max is 3 copies regardless and I have to pay extra (I would rather not have a separate account for that |

1. Not at the same time. A second real-time connection is necessary. You could use the DTC Server feature in Sierra Chart to avoid that, but really we do not like to say that because we do not want to get in trouble with the vendor of record Barchart and it is a more advanced feature. So in this case do use the second real-time connection. It is 20 USD more per month, which is a good value. 2. can I install SC On 2nd computer or max is 3 copies regardless and I have to pay extra (I would rather not have a separate account for that Yes you can. There is nothing more to pay. This will just be considered 2 systems.

1- Ok for the connection. It is a good value. 2- for the second system, A-I have to pay the full package 5? B- I have some indicators attached to my username so will I be able to use them in both systems? Can we make the second system just an extension, pay for it, with my same user name? |

2. We were not totally clear. You do not have to pay anything extra. Using multiple copies of Sierra Chart on two systems, is just considered two copies of Sierra Chart and is included in the service package.

2- So in addiction to the three instances (copies) I am running on one computer I can have other , maybe 2 or 3, running on the second computer? Just making sure. 3- I forgot to ask about IB, as I am using TWS in one PC, I don’t need it to run on the second PC for real time data. 4- Also, I am assuming that trading can’t be carried out from the second one. Is there a way around that? |

When paying $20/month for a second simultaneous SC data-feed: 1. Does the trader also have to pay a second set of exchange data-feed costs? 2. Can a different trading account be used for the second connection, independently of the trading service used in the first connection? |

In response to post #5: 2. Yes. 3. You do need to connect to TWS at least once a month as explained here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php#ConnectingOnlyOnceAMonthToTradingAccount Otherwise no. 4. To solve this does require using the DTC server as explained here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/NewInstance.php In response to post #6: 1. No. 2. Yes of course. How to add the second data connection for 20usd? Can’t find the instruction to set it up on the second computer. I already solved the IB issue and will have another copy runing in the second computer so I should be able to trade from that PC as well. It is a different username
