Is there a feature in SC so that if I select one chart in a chartbook, all the related charts will be brought to front? If not, I hope you will consider adding this, perhaps as a chart link feature. I'm using SC version 1415, but I've looked at the documentation and don't see this existing in later versions. If it already exists, please let me know where to read about it.

We are not really understanding this. But there is this option available that you might be looking for: General Settings Window: Bring Detached Windows to Top on Main Window Focus (Global Settings >> General Settings >> GUI >> Application GUI) Also you must update to the current version for this option. I just uploaded an image of my desktop. The link is http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1521145030713.png All the charts are in a single chartbook. What I would like to do is "stack" more charts on the left half of the chartbook. Then, if I select one of the small charts on the right side, the related charts on the left side would be brought to front. I'm looking at this as a way to consolidate several chartbooks into one. It would contain a total of 24 charts. The layout would be the same as in the screen shot. The six charts on the right would always be visible. On the left, though, charts would have to be layered and only 3 of the 18 charts on the left would be visible at one time. Instead of going through menus to pull the hidden charts to the front, I wonder if there is something like a chart link function so if I selected one of the small charts on the right, the related (linked) charts would come to the front on the left side. |
