Hi, I'm looking to interface sierra charts with a non commercial charting software package to enable a live data feed which will generate positions and orders. Originally we were looking at creating a unique charting tool (there's nothing like it on the market) within the Sierra environment but unfortunately is cant be done. The feedback provided to Frederik Vink was that Sierra Charts always uses a fixed amount of space for each charting column. The next best option is to link the data feed from Sierra charts via CQG with the non commercial software package which can create orders and positions in sierra charts. To enable this, a program needs to be developed to allow the data feed from sierra charts to interface with the non commercial software package. Can it be done? If yes what are the programming parameters to ensure a successful live data link between both software programs. Your valuable feedback would be appreciated, when convenient. Sample pic attached.
