I have created an automated trading system. Where can I read the following: - how shall I install it and run on a VPN remote server - which VPN remote servers are suitable for Sierra Chart automated trading systems, etc. - are there recommended VPN remote servers there? Thank you |

What you are referring to is a VPS, virtual private server. You just need to obtain a virtual private server running Windows. Install Sierra Chart on it in the same way as you normally would. Use your trading system on Sierra Chart in the same way as if you are running it locally on your computer. There really is nothing special to do. Just make sure Sierra Chart is running when you disconnect from the VPS and that is the only thing to be concerned with. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Dear Support, 3 questions. Please have a look, hier is a VPS from a German provider https://contabo.com/?show=configurator&vserver_id=185 CPU: six cores Intel® Xeon® E5-2620v3, E5-2630v4 or 4114 processor 24 GB RAM (guaranteed) 600 GB disk space (100% SSD) 100% SSD disk space 1. Is it suitable / enough for Sierra Chart to run on this VPS server? If not, what is not enough? 2. Which Windows option shall I choose in the mentioned above VPN? - Windows Server 2016 Datacenter (64 bit) or - Windows Server 2012R2 Datacenter (64 bit) 3. Is there a substantial performance disadvantage (time delay) that the mentioned server is located in Germany and not in USA? I am working with E-mini S&P 500 /// ESU8 - intraday Thank you |

1. Yes that does seem suitable but ultimately you will have to test and evaluate. 2. We recommend: - Windows Server 2012R2 Datacenter (64 bit) 3. The latency is going to be minimal. There is going to be a difference but this is going to be a judgment you have to make. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
