64 bit version and Transact

The 64 bit version seems not to work with Transact version of Sierra. It only starts the 32 bit version. Regards Outlander

Now that you mention this, this does make sense. We have to discuss this with them. But we are not going to contact them about it for two weeks until we are certain everything is fine with the 64-bit version.

Actually there is something you can do very easily on your side to make this work. Go to the Sierra Chart installation folder for the TransAct installation of Sierra Chart and delete SierraChart.exe. And considering all the problems that will definitely arise support wise with the 64-bit version, our advice to TransAct is to not adopt the 64 bit version for probably about 3-4 months from now. Perhaps even six months to a year would be better. Neither us or them need to deal with the consequences of all of the custom study problems that is going to arise. In general, there is not a practical need to use it. There simply is no practical benefit for the vast majority of users.
