The first thing to do is to not use the existing Chartbooks. Refer to:
High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often: 30.16 - What to do if Sierra Chart is in a frozen state for an extended time due to extended high CPU usage caused by an automatically or manually opened Chartbook

Then the next step is to just start with new charts:
High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often: 30.17 - Rebuilding Your Chartbook

And when you have time try to figure out the problem with the existing Chartbook by going through the other items on this page:
High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often

OK the very first thing you need to do is to run Sierra Chart in Safe Mode:
Sierra Chart - Software Login Instructions: Using Safe Mode

If you still have a problem with your existing Chartbooks, then start a new Chartbook.

We cannot help with the custom studies but we can prevent them from causing a problem. This is why you need to use Safe Mode.
