Is there any work going on to bring us market by order info (MBO). I am trying to determine my position in the order queue (Trading Technologies has this on their DOM). MBO provides the ability to view queue position, full depth of the book (not just 10 levels), and the size of individual orders at each price level. If this is not in the works can it be added to the list (which I assume is quite lengthy)? Thanx - John |

In regards to market by order data refer to posts #15 through #19 here: What is Sierra Chart Working On Also,if the market by order data is released it would only be for the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed. But after a day like these last couple days, we have no incentive to offer this because it is only going to cause increased latency and data loss. In order for us to maintain a high quality data feed, we should not offer it so tentatively it is not going to be done. Estimated position in queue is currently supported: Global Trade Settings Windows: Enable Estimated Position in Queue Tracking (Global Settings >> Chart Trade Settings >> General >> Position in Queue) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. As stated in the documentation, you have to have both the Enable Estimated Position in Queue Tracking and Display Additional Order Information enabled on the Global Settings >> Chart Trade Settings window. The EP will only show when it is a Limit Order. It looks like you found the documentation, but just for completeness, you can find the relevant information here: Global Trade Settings Windows: Enable Estimated Position in Queue Tracking (Global Settings >> Chart Trade Settings >> General >> Position in Queue) And here: Global Trade Settings Windows: Additional Order Information (Global Settings >> Chart Trade Settings >> Working Orders >> Working Orders - Display) And here: Chart Trading and the Chart DOM: Working Order Lines And make sure you are running the most latest version of Sierra Chart: Software Download: Fast Update Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Ok, I just verified I am running the most current version and I also verified I have both the "Enable Estimated Position in Queue Tracking" and Display Additional Order Information" checked. When I enter a limit order I do not see EP appear on the trade line. Does this not work in Demo Mode? |

Do you see "EP:" displayed on the order line? If not, update to the latest "Prerelease": Software Download: Fast Update Support for this in Trade Simulation Mode is only recent and may not be in the version you are running. And what symbol are you trading? Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point.
