Is there anyway to manipulate the trade window with ACSIL? I want to update the price in the trade window to the high / low + 1 tick so all I have to do is push buy / sell to place my order. I'm finding the trading DOM hard to place orders accurately when dealing with tick sizes of .1. Any advice on being more precise with orders on such a small tick size? I like my chart range wide so using anything but straight up typing the price into the box proves hard - and doing that is way too slow. Thanks, |

Sort of. What you can do, is use a Control Bar button: Advanced Custom Study Interaction With Menus, Control Bar Buttons, Pointer Events Which then actually submits an order with the price you want: Automated Trading From an Advanced Custom Study: Submitting and Modifying An Order Through the Advanced Custom Study Interface Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
