Profit or loss of what exactly? This is just too vague.

Use the Trade Activity Log. Look over the documentation for the Trade Statistics tab and the Period Trade Stats tab to determine which will show what you are looking for. You can find the documentation listed below:

Hi,
I am looking for a Profile loss for a time period that I can use in my automated spreadsheet for calculations so that I can continue trading or disable trading if I hit my target for a period.

Is there a way we can get a study or a spreadsheet based data for a profit loss for a time period.

The Daily Profit/Loss and a Cumulative Profit/Loss are available within the "Spreadsheet System for Trading" spreadsheet.

But there is not a simple way to get a specific period Profit/Loss except by either looking it up in the Trade Activity Log using the Period Stats, or you can adjust your "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading >> Order Fills Start Date/Time" to have a specific starting time, and then the profit/loss from that time will be what is shown in your Spreadsheet System for Trading.

srinathmadas - For PnL management based on your specific trading time window, you will need to do custom accounting of PnL from closed trades if you plan to use multiple trading windows in a given intraday session. I use High/Low of TimePeriod study as my "trading window" within RTH and OTH session times set on chart. It gets tricky but doable with lot of spreadsheet formulas to account for realized and unrealized profit/loss and tracking of cumulative pnl. It was a royal pain in the a*s so I just gave up on that idea and simplified my algo by running it on different charts and manually adjusting my "starting capital in ticks or points to keep the pnl counter running. just sharing my experience.
