Hi, I have activated my twitter account in Control Panel. Set the behaviour to public twits. In my twitter account, I can see permissions granted for Sierra Charts. I have set up alerts in Sierra following the documentation, to send to my twitter account. Then I have configured alerts for all orders put in Sierra. But no message appears in my twitter account, not public, nor private, nor direct message. What am I missing? |

Well, finally I have found the way to do it. Is is possible to edit the messages that are twitted? I mean, edit the template of the messages to send.

Yes. Thanks for the answer, but I don't understand. In the link you tell, I read the following: The Use User Defined Name Only in Alert Message setting applies to each individual Alert Number. When enabled, then the User Defined Name setting for the Alert Number will be used for the alert message text and no other text will be included. This means that you can use your own custom User Defined Name as the alert message to control the alert message output for a particular Alert Number. Reading this, I understand that if I give a name to the alert and mark the Use only user defined name, that name will be the only text will be published. If I don't mark it, I receive a message like this: Sell fill for ESH8. Account: DEMO051038 Fill Price: 2827.75000. Filled Quantity: 1. Internal Order ID: 4360. | Alert: AlertaTest What I ask is if this text can be modified so that, for example, don't show information about account, and internal order ID, and if I can for example translate into other language. If I choose to show only user defined, I can't have the price execution, for example. Thanks Date Time Of Last Edit: 2018-01-22 21:03:20

Yes your understanding is correct. You cannot customize that particular order fill text in the way that you want.
