This has always driven me crazy but I finally decided to look into turning it off. I want to be able to move orders around on my chart as needed, I just don't want to see this information line, at all. Is there really no way to hide it without disabling chart trading? Could this not be added as an option?

Hey j4ytr4der_,

You can go to Global Settings >> Chart Trade Settings > Under 'Other': click No to "Display Daily Profit/Loss on Chart/Trade DOM"

Thanks Tony but that isn't what I was referring to. I'm talking about the "Chart Trade Mode Box". From everything I've read this is not possible to turn off if you have Chart Trading enabled.

Here's a nice concise thread about it.

Chart Header?

I would agree on having the ability to hide DPL and Trade# in Chart Header but only when chart/trade ticket is linked to a live account or when chart is displaying fills from a live account.

When displaying fills from a Sim account, trading platform must always display "Sim" or paper trade watermark on the chart to prevent scams from sellers of signal, trading bots and training courses. There should be no such configuration available to prevent displaying "Sim" on a chart or anywhere within the trading platform.

SC Engineering - Related to my comment above, Trading Activity log does not perform a forced refresh automatically when account# is switched. This allows me to "misrepresent" a Sim trade log for a live trade account via screenshots. Kudos for implementing this prevention when trading account is switched on the trade ticket!

If someone really wants to scam people, all they would have to do is change the $ per tick value to the mini value, trade micros, and look like a bad-ass. It will never be possible to prevent people from committing fraud, if they are so inclined. Better to not depend on someone else to tell/show you what to do, people need to develop their own skills, be more self-reliant.
