Hello Sierra

I have tried for some time to find a way to put the UK pound symbol '£' into the text box as it always puts a 'J' in the box. I have looked through the support board and help files but the search function seems to have been sharply limited since you've done menu updates. How do I do this please?

Thanks

Type ALT-156 or ALT-0163 - both produce the £ symbol...

Hello Sierra - Did NOT work

In WORD or NOTEPAD or on this screen, using Alt156 produces the '£' but in the Sierra Text Box - It produces a 'J' in either American or English Keyboard but it does NOT produce '£'
Using ALT163 produces ú or a little 'b' with a dash on the top - again - it also does NOT produce the '£' symbol. I've tried a number of variations inc caps lock and off andf English / American keyboard - also see codes at https://www.alt-codes.net/ - But '£' still will produce - I can't even copy and paste it from another file (example notepad) - It always produces 'J'

Please advise further
Thanks - Mark

For info my keyboard is configured for UK English. Shift 3 produces £ sign in a Sierra text box
