Hi, I use a lot the function sc.GetStudyArrayUsingID. However, I keep on adding and retrieving new studies, and it is time consuming to verify the IDs and update all the progs. Therefore, is it possible to detect a study ID through its Short Name ? It would very useful, as the shortname rarely changes. Thank you for your help, Thomas |

This is not supported and it is not planned. It is not considered a technically correct, efficient or reliable method to get the study ID this way. What you need to use is a study Input that lists studies and select the study that way. Refer to the example here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_ACSIL_Members_Functions.html#scGetStudyArrayUsingID Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
