Hi,
I purchased Barchart data but cannot run the datafeed simultaneosly on two SC platforms running at the same PC.
The first CS starts, loads the data and runs OK, but the second is loading datafeed again and again.
Barchart representative said datafeed should run at two platforms at once, I should contact SC support.
Could you help please?
The log file is attached.
Thank you.
Jiri

This is true. You will need 2 separate accounts from them to maintain two separate connections. This is their policy.

They are not correct when they say you can use the Barchart data feed from 2 separate copies of Sierra Chart at once.

However, there is a solution to this. Connect to the Barchart data feed in one copy of Sierra Chart and then share data from that copy to other copies of Sierra Chart. Here is the documentation for this:

In the copy of Sierra Chart that is accessing chart data files from the copy connected to Barchart, select File >> Disconnect so it does not try to connect.

Also, we see you are using symbols with a #, those charts will not update in real time. You need to use the symbols that have the specific contract month and year.
