I notice during replay using the spreadsheet for trading study that at times it gets stuck and doesn't update or show the orders. If I click on recalculate it doesn't update it. I've found that I have to pull up the studies window with the list of studies on the chart and hit apply or ok and it refreshes the spreadsheet. Is there a reason this might be happening and what can I do to fix it? I wouldn't want it to happen during live trading hours although I haven't noticed that yet. Thanks.

We do not know what you mean by "show the orders" What we think you are describing is a study calculation precedence issue. When I get a buy signal I'll use a buy stop at x ticks above the low of a bar. I'll see the signal from the study subgraph but the buy stop order won't show up. It will if I mess around with it and refresh the studies. Just answer this, should the spreadsheet studies be at the top or the bottom of the study list? Since it's low precedence I'm guessing at the bottom?

The Spreadsheet studies should be at the bottom of the list. If the issue is with a Spreadsheet automated trading system, then refer to: Spreadsheet Systems, Alerts and Automated Trading: Ignored Signals With Spreadsheet Systems or Alerts Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
