I have constructed a list of questions I was hoping to take up via phone call. But if these can all be answered in a ticket, I'll ask them here: 1). How many ways can I turn on and off an auto-trade system? I know I can enable the auto trade option under trade. & I know I can use the disable autotrade cell in the spreadsheet. Can I use a horizontal line, trendline, or alert of some sort to turn on / off autotrade? 2). Can auto-trade be enabled on only one symbol? 3). Can I specify the type of order (buy ask / buy bid) in the spreadsheet formula (K3 / j22 / j71) ? (I know I can specify Buy Market or Buy Limit - J71 / J73). 4). Can I specify how many contracts are traded via the spreadsheet formula? Thank you again! -100 Date Time Of Last Edit: 2013-09-17 07:43:55

1. This is explained here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_SystemsAlerts.php#AutomatedTrading 2. Yes. 3. You can do this by setting the Limit order price on the spreadsheet. 4. Yes. There is a spreadsheet cell to set the order quantity. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Thank you very much! For question number two - are you referring to the "disable auto trade = true/false" cells? Or is there a way to quickly turn on and off the auto trade on a single symbol? like there is w/ the 'trade >> enable autotrade'? |
