Version 1655 has a Estimated Position in Queue feature for non-simulated Limit orders. The following options need to be enabled to use it: Global Settings >> Chart Trade Settings >> Enable Estimated Position in Queue Tracking Global Settings >> Chart Trade Settings >> Working Orders >> Display Additional Order Information This feature only applies to limit orders only, submitted after these options have been enabled. Estimated position in queue is the estimated position in the size/quantity on the bid side or ask side depending upon whether the order is a buy order or a sell order respectively, of where the order is . As this estimated position reaches zero, the more likely the order will execute. We did our best with the calculations but we do not know whether it is the best way. It was simply the most reasoned implementation. At best this is just an estimation. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. I have enabled this functionality but do not see where the information is displayed. Where should I look for the Position in Queue information? Thanks, C |

You will see the estimated position on the order line on the chart or trading DOM. It will be the number after EP:. Be sure to follow the information in the post above as well.

SC, is there a way to get the value that this provides into a spreadsheet to use for automation?

Original post was for version 1655 in December 2017. It's now 2.5 years later. Have there been any updates to this, as in does "estimated position in queue" work on SIM trades?
