Hello SC support, would you be able to let us know when server side OCO will be enabled for CTS?

Thank you

I thought it was always server side? I'm using the CTS sim server. Server side or no?

SC disabled this feature due to some issues with the new FIX thing. This is the official documentation:

Server Managed OCO (Order Cancels Order): Yes. Up to version 997. Currently disabled in versions that use the FIX protocol.

We will again test FIX OCO next week. We saw some issues with it. With the other FIX issues, we did not want to introduce another problem. If everything is successful with testing, we will reenable it. Otherwise, we will let CTS know about any issues we see.

One of the main problems that existed with it, was resolved. However, we wanted to wait and do more testing.

SC,
If it is not too much trouble, could you please update this thread when server-side is enabled?

On a side note.....I wanted to let you know that FIX has worked great the last few days. Great work SC and CTS. Thank you.

In regards to CTS OCO, we have done testing and it all works very well over FIX. However there is one problem. It only works with Stop and Limit order combinations. It does not work with 2 Stop orders.

So the OCO order types in Sierra Chart which use 2 stop orders are not going to function properly. One of them will immediately fill. This is not acceptable. Until we implement a solution to this, we cannot release this. Should not take long. Probably sometime next week or after.

We have asked CTS when they will support OCO with 2 Stop orders and they are not sure when.

Is there any progress with this? Much needed.

Two stop orders?

I can't see how it could work with *any* service never mind CTS.

Just think about it for a second; it's impossible, right ?

Better to use MIT for the Target, and keep stop as-is.

No we have not done anything with this. After looking into it some more, it is too involved for us to be spending time on in the immediate term.

Yes, it is a standard OCO bracket just like any other. A buy stop above the market, and a sell stop below the market. Used typically to enter a position on a breakout of either side of a range.

I have been on the sidelines with Topstep for over a month now.

My experience was that a 2 contract position that hit an OCO stop only liquidated 1 contract. The OCO remained on the DOM while the market moved away with an unwanted position that could not be closed.

"A buy stop above the market, and a sell stop below the market"..

In T4, the OCO is 1 LMT + 1 STP. This is what CTS supports. Not 2 Stops.

"My experience was that a 2 contract position that hit an OCO stop only liquidated 1 contract."

Weird! Is this STP LMT ?

We apologize for the wait. CTS server-side OCO has now been restored in 1039. It required special handling and this was the reason for the delay.
