Hi

I currently have my mouse set to 'control the zooming in and out on a chart' in global setting. But for example when I point my mouse to a candle (say left portion of a chart) the chart keeps moving to the right when I am scrolling/zooming in.

How do I lock to that candle where I want to zoom in.

Thanks.

Based on how Sierra Chart works, this is not making sense. Merely moving your mouse pointer around is not going to cause any movement of the chart

Describe exactly what you are doing to "zoom in".

Hi,

Let me try again, say I have zoomed out on a daily view chart with 10 years data. Then I found a candle which catches my eyes and I move my mouse over to that candle. Now, how do I, by pointing my mouse on this candle, start to scroll to zoom in on this candle without the chart moving away from this candle?

Hope this is clear to you.

HI I tried that and the whole candle filled the screen. Is there a progressive way of zooming in a point?

Specifically what we referred you to is this section here:
Increasing bar spacing on a chart is a method by which you can expand horizontally or zoom-in an area on the chart. To zoom-in to an area of the chart: Move the chart scrollbar at the bottom of the chart so that the last bar of the area you want to zoom-in to is at the end of the chart window. Increase bar spacing to zoom-in.
