[User Discussion] - TPO + Candlestick Bar Study/Price Overlay

Hi SC + Others, I can't seem to overlay a basic intraday Candlestick bar chart onto an intraday TPO Chart or vice-versa. I've tried a few different symbols. The closest I've got is to have the TPO Chart have a Study/Price Overlay which references another standard Candlestick Chart with the setting in Study/Price Overlay - Match Source Bars to Destination Bars as NO. But in this case the periods dont line up i.e. Candlestick Bars are two days behind those on TPO study. All my session times and global setting times are the same for both Charts. Ideally I would like to overlay the TPO onto a Candlestick Chart as that gives the better 'X' axis times. So using Study/Price Overlay with TPO Any help appreciated. Thanks Trint |

.. I'm a bit new to this TPO and thought I would give it a try. I'm starting to think it may be down to a TPO 'buffering' element. As the Candlestick bars are of a fixed width for a daily period I suppose the same isn't the case with the TPO daily periods and constant activity at a price point can mean lengthy POCs which might push into new candlestick dailies. If that is the case is there a scaling function for TPOs to remain within Candlestick Daily periods..? |
