I'm familiar with copying drawings to different charts and different charts on different workspaces, but when using the normal function to do so, the origin of the drawing remains on the chart that it was originally drawn from. Is there a way to make a copy of an object in which the plots of the object become native to the chart that you're copying the drawing to? An example of this would be if you could open the 'Manage Chart Drawings' on the chart that you copied to, and be able to see your copied object in that. |

Hi, Would this happen to be in any plans for future versions? Or could I make that request? Thanks |

Not likely we would add this. The concept of manually copying a drawing from one chart to another chart is odd and will only create support troubles for us.

Not that the idea is odd, but from a technical perspective and the way someone may look at the behavior, potentially is odd and inevitably will create too many questions.

Ok, That makes sense. Would it be possible for me to pay Sierra to do this as a custom add-on for just my personal use? Or is there a recommended list of programmers that I may contact about having something like this done? Thanks |

Can you tell us the type of drawings you want to copy from one chart to another so we know whether this is going to operate within the reasonable limits of ACSIL as they exist now.

Yes, parallel rays, parallel lines and possibly pitchforks. Thanks |

ACSIL does support getting and adding these types of chart drawings, but we just wonder in the case of Pitchforks, whether ACSIL can transfer a Pitchfork drawing to another chart identically without any issues. But if there are any issues, we should be able to solve them.
