I talked with IB regarding the disappearing Trade Position Line. I am attaching a screenshot of the chat text. The tech said there was no requestaccountupdate function used by Sierra Charts...

There is no doubt it is being made. The engineering and reliability of Sierra Chart is absolutely far and away beyond Trader Workstation.

Reconnect to the data feed by following these instructions:
File Menu: Procedure to Reconnect to the Data and Trade Servers

Provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions and we will confirm the request has been made:

The TWS log file will also show that.

That conversation with Interactive Brokers is very painful to read because they simply are not even aware of their own problems. It saddens us, that they put you through this.

You do not know how much vast experience we have with this particular issue. It was actually reviewed with an incredible level of detail a little more than a year ago. And it was 110% clear, that the issue was on the TWS side. Interactive Brokers has a problem in this area, and they failed to resolve it for more than 10 years now.

Anyway, the Message Log will tell us what we need. As well as the TWS log on your computer.
