Trade Activity Log Issue with P/L format

Hello,

I think there may be a bug in the P/L format for EUR/USD on the trade activity log. I have been backtesting a strategy with the spreadsheet study (working on learning ACSIL still) and everything was working great and calculating correctly using USD/JPY in the trade log. I set the tick size to .001 with .09 tick value. In chart settings I have the profit/loss format set to currency and I had the same setting for P/L in the trade activity log. So I tried to test my same strat on EUR/USD and couldn't get the Trade Activity Log log to display P/L correctly (very tiny numbers). I discovered the .00005 tick suggested setting so I set that as the tick size and .5 as tick value. This did not help my P/L display correctly in the log, BUT when I changed the log P/L format to currency value AND ticks I got the right numbers. So maybe this is just a bug for this specific pair? I will test on some other pairs shortly. Is there any other funny behavior with specific currency pairs like this? I am primarily trading Forex at the moment. Also I just wanted to let you know that I love the the customizability and features of Sierra chart, keep up the good work!

Thanks

I don't know what happened but i was changing the p/l format on the trade activity log to different things and when i tried "Currency Value" again it worked. So confused.. Maybe I did something wrong.

Unless you are using LMAX, which you are not, the Currency Value Per Tick and the Tick Size must always be the same. We really do not recommend altering those.

The small values you see for Currency Value, have to do with the fact that you are trading smaller quantities.
