If I have set a trailing stop configuration, and then I manually adjust the stop based on my own criteria...the stop often backs up a tick or two (increasing my risk..when i just decreased it) based on the configuration and auto trail settings... how can i get this behavior to cease?...My trailing stops are a tool...not an absolute crutch...I wish to have them move appropriately unless I override. |

This behavior does not make sense for a Sierra Chart Trailing Stop order. Are you using a Trailing Stop order within Sierra Chart? They are documented here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/OrderTypes.html#TrailingStop Are you using this study?: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/AttachedOrders.html#StudyControlledTargetsStops Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
