Delay When Changing Certain Menu Settings

Starting a couple of version changes ago I get a significant delay when opening certain Menu Items that I did not experience prior to this. As an example, If I open Trade/Customize Chart/Trade DOM Columns it will take approximately 20 seconds to pull the menu up every time. The functionality works fine and I can save the changes quickly and move on. If I immediately go back into the same menu item I'll get the same delay. This was the first menu problem I noticed approximately 2 weeks ago. Today, I tried to add a custom control button (and I got the same behavior on that menu. I right clicked on a Control Bar Button of Chartbook 1 and selected Configure Button and got a long delay also. After I notice the hang, I'll click the menu bar and on Help when the menu text grays out and it "seems" to pop up sometimes after I click on Help. This could have nothing to do with it and the menu may have popped up anyway but--maybe not.

I have a very fast system with ample memory. My Task Manager shows nothing out of the ordinary when these hangs/delays take place and other tasks in SC work very quickly. All my studies show minimal processing time of Zero - 2ms so something else is going on internally (I believe).

If you need a log file or anything else please let me know.

Thanks -- Scott

There is nothing we can do from our side about this. This is not specific to any particular version. It is an operating system level issue.
